My Music Education
I’ve never been a musical person. Well, I always like music and never had a day without listening to it but I guess I didnt have it in my heart and soul. Until sometime in yesteryear. Someone who is now a very close friend of mine urged me a cd contagious enough to make me who I am today. The cd (and it followed later on by a part 2 ) contains almost 200 songs that he considered infectious and are the best sounds there are in the world *exaggerating i sound, huh? ;p* . To honour his concern and effort I then listened to the mix everyday, had three songs or four caught in my mind and I thought that was it, that I was as infected as I could be.
Then How I Met Your Mother made its way. The comedy was indeed funny, the characters were so precise, and…the final song in its final season one’s episode suited undeniably perfectly.I always had a thing for music on scenes, I find it more amusing than its regular audio form. Back then I felt a slight familiar tune and voice listening to that song so I confronted my infectious-tunes-cd-friend the next day to prove whether I had the right suspicion or not.
He was excited with the fact that I recognized the song, he said that it made his day and he found it rather hard to stop smiling that afternoon. It was Bloc Party’s This Modern Love. The song was in the cd all along..I just didnt notice. So then I put more attention to the band and their song, and also to music in general. My dearest friend bought me the cd of their last album as a trigger for me to maintain my fondness of the new music i was experiencing (it became kind of a habit since later on he also bought me Bloc Party’s 1st album’s Special Edition, and also their second’s Special Edition.. ;p). The moment was the official launching of a Musicwise-Me
.
Olla.. kamu juga menulari ku mendengarkan musikmu ini. Hehehe..
Selamat datang di dunia maya
