Rob Flemming did it, Barry did it, Dick did it, Dodo did it. So, let’s have it!!! (In a slight different version ;p )

5 Concerts To Go To Before I Die :

1. Bloc Party

Bloc Party

Why: Definitely. Definitely. Definitely. Definitely because I’m a religious fan and that their music is what’s awaken my apparent-death of whats-so-called music. It’d be night, in a club of 500 viewers capacity, plain background. I’d be right in the middle row facing the center of the stage, not to be too close so I could get perfect view to the entire band, and to be blended with the euphoria that my other fellow-spectateurs would be feeling, arising out of victory of watching our fave band performs live in front of our bare eyes.

Expected setlist : Song For Clay (Dissappear Here), The Prayer, Skeleton, Waiting For The 7.18, Uniform, I Still Remember, Price Of Gasoline, Tulips, She’s Hearing Voices, This Modern Love, So Here We Are, The Pioneers, Hunting For Witches, Sunday, Little Thoughts, Two More Years

2. Radiohead, In Rainbows

Radiohed-In Rainbows

Why : The second best struck I had after the above name. They infected me : insanely. This time, it’d be an open air afternoon. Not much word exist that is enuf to describe the superbe sound they’ve made and spread. I. Am. Overwhelmed.

Expected setlist : Complete and in ordered In Rainbows. 15 Step, Bodysnatchers, Nude, Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, All I Need, Faust Arp, Reckoner, House Of Card, Jigsaw Falling Into Place, Videotape.
With an encore of Jigsaw Falling Into Place if I may wish upon a falling star ;p.

3. Pure Saturday

Pure Saturday

Why : I owe them. I am ashamed of not having been to any of their gigs my entire life. They’ve always been the company of me when I was in need from day one of the jingle of Desire in my ears. They are a soundtrack of my present year, a fixed tune of my everyday life. My darls.

Expected setlist : Simple, Coklat, Elora, Tutur Gelap, Langit Terbuka Luas, Mengapa Tidak Pikiranku Pikiranmu, Desire, Gala, Banga, Later… The Saddest World Down

4. Maps, We Can Create

Maps

Why : The so-called Bedroom Genious Mr James Chapman. My. The only artist which album is always to be listened to entirely, orderly, insenssantly. The cure of a broken hearted self.

Expected setlist : So Low So High, You Dont Know Her Name, Elouise, It Will Find You, Glory Verse, Liquid Sugar, To The Sky, Back + Forth, Lost My Soul, Dont Fear, When You Leave

5. A grand stage would be needed to accomodate these grand names :The Cardigans, Morrissey, The Cure, U2, Coldplay, Travis.

the cardigansMorrisseythe cureU2coldplaytravis

Why : Each of those names contributes big deals in me. Some take me dreaming bedazzlingdly, some make their way to keep me on my ground selfconciously. Hm. I should get their cds. Mercy me.

Expected setlist : Rise & Shine, My Love Life, Interesting Drug, We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful, Hold On To Your Friends, Mint Car, Just Like Heaven, Where The Streets Have No Name, Fix You, Flowers In The Window, Driftwood.

Inspired by David Wahyu Hidayat who was inspired by “High Fidelity” – A novel written by Nick Hornby.

Actually I’m speechless, the first time I read this. Never thought you’d gone this far making this kind of a list. Welcome to the club then! ;p Interesting list though, it would be difficult to make my own, since I’d seen almost all of my heroes ;p

I like your style!
